OMFG.

i don't even know how to react to this.. but, our beloved DOCTOR ERICA HAHN has been fired from Grey's Anatomy! like, as in half of Callica, Grey's Anatomy first-ever significant gay couple! and ya, as in, Brooke Smith herself. if you're still lost. she has been officially made to cut ties from the show! AHHHH! :'(

i am really really REALLY upset now. and there is MORE bad news - Dr Hahn's last appearance will be in next THIS week's episode.

(actually nobody really seemed to know what happened, according to sources, ABC probably just didn't like her character and didn't think that their gay relationship would last...)

this is really disheartening because i thought Dr Hahn acted SO incredibly well in the previous episode (ep 6 - life during wartime) where she confessed to Callie that she was "so gay" and then cried when Callie left the bedroom.

i honestly don't think it's that simple, no person in the right frame of mind would believe what ABC said. perhaps there have been complains from people who are biased against homosexuality and feel that since grey's is such a popular show that caters to viewers of all ages, it should not feature nor popularize gay-relationships. but still!! c'mon! it's the year 2008!!! GEESH!

i seriously DO NOT UNDERSTAND.
